Retreat day – April 18 at Queen’s House

On April 18, you are invited to come and spend a day away from the ordinary routines and busy-ness of life. Come and sing, pray, and creatively enter into the presence of God–together! Our theme for the day is “Shaped and Shaping: The Potter and the Clay.”
Our retreat will be led by Pam Wilkinson, a member of L’Arche Comox Valley.
Our day will start at 10 am at Queen’s House (601 Taylor Street W) and will end with supper, which will begin at 5:30 pm. If you are not able to come for our whole day together, you are welcome to come just for supper. The cost is $10 per person for supplies and meals for the whole day. If you are only able to join us for supper at 5:30, the cost is $5. (Note: the cost of our retreat has been subsidized by a generous grant from the James P. Mahoney Institute of the Family.)

There will be no other Friends of L’Arche Gathering in April—the retreat day is our Gathering for this month! The next Gathering will be on May 16 at Grace Westminster United.
Our ecumenical Prayer Nights happen several times a month, and everyone is welcome to join us! Prayer Nights are held on Wednesday nights from 7:30 to 8, with tea and cookies afterwards.
